Tom Woodson, a Senior Adviser with StoneTurn, brings more than 25 years of experience in compliance and monitoring, investigations, and forensic auditing. A former Chief Compliance Officer in the life sciences, medical devices and apparel industries, Tom applies first-hand knowledge of GRC, internal audit, fraud investigations and security matters to assist clients in Germany and around the world.

Over the course of his career, Tom has conducted over 300 investigations and was recognized by Finance Magazin (F.A.Z. Verlag) in 2014 as Compliance Officer of the Year. Prior to his work with StoneTurn, Tom served as CCO, leading compliance activities at an international fashion and lifestyle company with more than 5,000 employees. He also created and implemented the compliance program for a life sciences and medical devices subsidiary of the Danaher Corporation, driving compliance-relevant processes for its parent company as well.

Earlier in his career, Tom was part of the Forensic Audit leadership team at Siemens, where he was integral in designing the company’s overall investigation process. He also built and managed the Forensic Audit department for a Big Four public accounting firm and oversaw and conducted countless global investigations and fraud prevention audits.

Tom is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and speaks German and English fluently.
